Adopt a Cat
Every cat here is rescued and waiting for a forever home. Could yours be the one?
Meet the Cats ↓Why Adopt
Every Cat Deserves a Home

Save a Life
Every cat at Ubasti is rescued from the streets. When you adopt, you give that cat a real second chance — a warm bed, a safe home, and someone who cares.

Meet Them First
You'll spend real time with the cats in our lounge before deciding. No guessing, no surprises — just a genuine connection forming naturally over coffee.

Say No to Breeders
Buying from breeders drives demand that keeps cats suffering in mills. Adoption is the ethical, compassionate choice for anyone who truly loves cats.

We've Got Your Back
From vet checks to nutrition guidance and settling-in tips — we support you through every step. You're never navigating cat parenthood alone.

Adoption FAQs
Is there an adoption fee?+
Yes — the adoption fee covers vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter costs already completed. The exact fee depends on the cat.
Do you adopt outside Chennai?+
Currently we adopt locally within Chennai and nearby areas so we can conduct a home visit.
Can I adopt more than one cat?+
Absolutely — bonded pairs especially benefit from going together, and we encourage it!
What if it's not working out?+
Please contact us. We never want a cat to be in a bad situation — we'll help re-home them if needed.
Do the cats get along with dogs?+
It varies by cat. Some of our cats are dog-friendly. Ask us during your visit and we'll give you an honest answer.
